The World Happiness Report 2013
I’ve been a personal opponent to the use of the GDP index as a measurement for a successful nation and economy. The gauge is flawed and often it does not speak for the general population. What is interesting is that with this report, we are able to delve into elements of microeconomics and how we get to see distribution across various categories and sub-categories. It’s a bit of a read but hey, get some solid perspective and measure up those policies your government has been making and decide for yourself if they are up to scratch.
