Galvanising the Australian Labor Party Campaign Team

It’s been a bit tricky having to decide to turn against common advice about including political work in one’s portfolio but I hope that this post would come across as bipartisan as I hope it would be and that the work will be viewed for exactly what it is: just work, pure and simple. It’s all about design, illustration and typography, folks.

Having said that I have to publicly admit that I was involved with the 2013 Campaign where I took on the role of Art Director in advertising and internal branding for the ALP. One of the most rewarding experiences in my career, I have to say, to be right in the pulse of the action and working under the awesome leadership of Dee Madigan. But we’ll avoid including the rest of the campaign to avoid any uncalled-for partisan bias that might cloud professional opinions etc.

Here are just 3 of those which did not get a taste of the public eye. But apt nonetheless on this day that the party has elected its new leader.
